Moonbat of the day

Today's moonbat of the day award goes to P. Gilet of Albany, Western Australia for this rant appearing in today's Australian letters page.

THE media hype about the Anzacs is a cynical exercise. All our wars, from the Boer to Iraq, have been fought to secure the investments and empires of others, not defend our own shores. Japan indeed wanted to invade but only because we fought them in Asia to defend those said investments. Had we not, many young Japanese and Australian men would have lived. There is nothing glorious about collective suicide nor craven submission to our domestic masters.
